31 wks 6 days

Well...we've made it another week! (YAY!) Today I have nothing but positive and good things to blog about! My measurements today: lowest is 2.1(that's what it would be at with his/her head pressing down) and the highest is 2.6. Still not a 3 or higher but it's better than the 1.9 we were at last week's measurements. I thought for sure with all of the activity and stuff I've been doing this week the measurements would be the same or worse, so I am glad to hear they got better. Oh and the estimated weight for this baby right now is 4 lbs 3 oz...HOLY COW! (Dr. Tonkin tells me I won't be having a huge baby but my fear is that I will!!) We didn't have to repeat the fetal fibronectin test this week and we won't have to do it next week either because it tests to make sure you won't have the baby within 2 weeks. Once I'm at 35 weeks she acted as if it would be ok if I went in the hospital to have the baby, so I'm ok with that. Am I ok with it being 3 weeks away if "the time does come"? Not really...I am ready to meet this little "dancer/ kickboxing champ/ runner" but a few more weeks would do us all some good. Oh, I do appreciate my ultrasound tech (who I've come to know on a weekly basis now) she got some good, funny shots today of baby. S/he was sticking out his/her tongue and yawning at one point...it was so funny and cute to see! ALSO, this baby looks like it's going to have some big cheeks like brother Reese...YAY!!!!!! (See pics below)

Pic #2--smooshed face
Pic #3--looks really funny...s/he is sticking out their tongue!! looks like kissy lips but it was their tongue...hilarious!

The nursery has been painted (the painter's name will remain anonymous) and the dresser is in the room. Now that painter needs to get it together and go paint Reese's room so we can move all of his stuff and his new mattress and bed into his room. The crib is supposed to be in within the next 3 weeks. Then I will really feel like things are coming together. Lots of rearranging and arranging to do within the next few weeks! The clothes that I have, have been washed and the toys and car seat have come down out of the attic and are clean. I find it so nice to say I need a swing or a bouncy seat and bam! you just go into your attic and get it...don't have to worry about going to the store and having to buy it. Now one big purchase we will have to make is for a double stroller. Got it picked out, just gotta order it. Alright...Reese is napping so I better get to sleep myself while I can! Thank you for all of the prayers and thoughts these past few weeks! It's definitely been a bumpy road, not knowing what to expect next, but we are gonna make it through these last few weeks! :)  PS- tiny dancer, you feel free to remove your tiny dancing foot out of my hip now ;) Love, Mommy
