Yup, it's that time of the week!
Went in today...hang on...maybe I should start this blog by telling you that if you begin reading it and I've begun to ramble on about random things or it doesn't make sense at all...it's because I've been up since 4 am. Yes, beginning around 3:30 I started having braxton hicks that were painful at first and then subsided so I thought I could go back to sleep. Back up at 4 and it was pain, then tightening off and on for 3 minutes each lasting a minute each. So needless to say I wasn't sleeping. Should I have called the nurse? Yes, I should have. But by 5 am they were random and about every 5 min. By 6 am I was able to fall asleep on the couch and then at 6:37 Reese is in his room crying, by 6:50 he was up calling for me. I knew I had an appointment at 8:30 so I went ahead and got ready and was on my way.

Rhett showed up surprisingly at the ultrasound and we got to watch "tiny dancer" suck their thumb and then just lay there swallowing and moving their lips. What a sweet baby! We also checked on the heart and saw it practice breathing so that's always reassuring. It's funny to always go to an ultrasound to check on certain things each week without looking at it's feet. I've seen it's femur bones several times but the feet, only once. I guess so we don't accidentally see what this baby is. What patience we have! I'm tellin ya, I think that we forget that we don't know and just go in and enjoy seeing it's sweet face and chest! :)  So my measurements are still the same 1.9- 2.0. Good news for us today...means the contractions I was having last night didn't really progress things. Now we are just onto playing the waiting game!! Who knows, with all that we've had to go through each week I may just have to end up being induced, you never know! I do know however that this baby will be born by the end of next month...so 5 weeks to go at the latest! Wow, we've got to get this house in order!!

Now off to my nice, (hopefully) long afternoon nap!! (Thank you sweet Reese for going to sleep for me already!)
