I'm not sure I really like the idea of tying my child/infant to the chair. Don't get me wrong...I think when R has his fits I'd like to tie him to just about anything at any given moment. ;) So I guess it could come in handy for a 2 year old.

It is a great alternative to the "portable" high chair. Those things are just so bulky. My mom made us a "tie chair" (although it's a little different than this one) and we keep it in the car all the time. If we're at someone's house who doesn't have a place for Georgia to eat, we just grab it out of the car and can turn any chair into a chair for her. We love it!
