A conversation/ episode with my 2 year old went a little something like this...oh, did I mention how much I love getting to sit and eat lunch with Reese during the day? When I was working I had about 10 minutes to sit by myself and eat (which at times was WONDERFUL!!!) and then about 10 minutes of interaction with some adult coworkers...of which we usually chatted about the previous night's shows such as The Biggest Loser.
Anywho, I was asking R about his previous incident(s) that probably sky rocketed my blood pressure out of the roof and I'm pretty sure I just about lost a few hairs after wanting to pull them out of my head. He went into Addyson's room, climbed in the rocking chair, stood up, reached over to the dresser and got the tiny (thankfully it was small) container of baby powder down, then proceeded to close her door. Meanwhile, I'm in the den feeding A thinking he was playing so nicely by himself with his toys and some of my coupons he's become obsessed with (do I set an example or what!?). OH NO, he was not playing so nicely. I open the door to powder not only on the floor, but all over his clothes (that I had just dressed him in to go visit family at a funeral visitation), his hands, arms and face. Seriously, Reese? I get him all cleaned up, vaccum the floors and sit down to finish with A only to repeat the process all over again with him about 20 minutes later, only this time it was in the den with powder all over the floor and his face. WHY? I know I already needed to clean the floors so maybe this was his way of telling me to get busy cleaning...LOL! So at lunch I ask R why he did that...his response...I dunno.
That's our motto for the day. "I dunno". "I dunno" why he made the mess, why toys can't seem to put themselves back where they belong, why A isn't sleeping much today, why A wants to eat almost every 2 1/2 hours, why R feels the need to wipe his snotty nose on me (ON PURPOSE), why R can't poop in the potty & not his diaper to get his reward (the Shark Tale movie), why I feel like all I do is clean up- only to turn around and clean up again at the end of the day, and most importantly why did God bless me with such a wonderful life!? It's days like these that stress me out but I have learned to live through them and make the most of them while I can. My kids are only going to be this little once. They do things for who knows what reason and I learn to just deal with it, laugh and move on. Life is too short to sit and dwell on the crazy things in life.

I'm sorry Lauren but the baby powder incident is hilarious! You should have taken pictures of powdered covered Reese! :) Hey, at least you got 6 straight hours of sleep after your "adventurous" day!!
KD, I tried to get the camera after telling him to hold still. I came back in the room with the camera in hand and he had moved and was getting it in even more places. LOL!
