Can I tell you how glad I am that we decided to invest in a NICE camera? I just love Canon's!! I had one before and unfortunately it died on me...RIP my small, petite Canon camera.
Just the other day Rhett asked when I'd take Addyson to get her pictures made (like we did with Reese). Well, after investing our $$ in an expensive camera I am now the "professional photographer" that's going to take those pictures. Now, I'd like to get a program that will allow me to edit and do much more to our photos. That my friend, will have to come with time.
I'd like to share a few pictures I took the other day before we left for church...my sweet pea in her little smocked outfit, I love it! However, I must admit...this outfit came from a consignment sale. That will probably be my first & last smocked outfit purchase. Mimi might come after me with her needle & thread if I buy another one. haha! (Love you Mimi!!) For those who don't know my mom, she smocks and she has an incredible talent! I wish I had the talent and patience she has to make the beautiful outfits she makes!! Addyson is going to be one spoiled little girl when it comes to smocked outfits & I CANNOT wait!
**And I had to include the one of the kids together. Reese was watching a movie in our room with Rhett last night and I was in the den with Addyson. I walked in with her and he was sitting like that on the edge of the bed. Well, I thought it would be cute to sit her up next to him...I was actually sitting on the floor in front of her holding her up. Reese took it upon himself to put his arm around her. I'm tellin ya, he is THE sweetest brother to her! I hope he stays that way and they are best of friends!! I know they won't always get along, but I sure hope that they take care of each other, care for one another and keep in touch as they get older. Reese Butler, you have the sweetest heart of any little boy I know. You mean well even when you are doing things you aren't supposed to. I love my two kids more than I ever thought possible. God has blessed my life beyond belief and I know I say that alot but I mean it. My kids and my little family are my world and they mean everything to me.
