It's becoming that time of year again where every weekend is jam packed full of fun parties and events. Beginning Friday night we went to celebrate Cohen's birthday by eating hot dogs, cheetos and cake around the campfire. Reese was more interested in driving the power wheels with the other kids. Oh how I wish we had a yard for some power wheels for him to drive! Hopefully one day we'll make it out of this house. Reese & Rhett ended the night by camping out in a tent and from what I hear...Reese did great! Looks like I see a camping trip come next Spring!
Saturday we went to my mom's church to the halloween "festival" they were having. Reese bounced in the bouncy thing, went trunk or treating, ate some popcorn and played on the playground all the while with Grandaddy...aka "Dar".

Later that night we put Reese in his glow in the dark skeleton pjs (see story regarding his costume below) and went to Zoo Boo with the Johnstons. We have gone every year since Reese was born and on the way there I was thinking about how we should make it a tradition every year to go. Needless to say when we left I rethought that idea!! TOO many people were there, it was like being at the fair. $10 a ticket, a ride on the merri-go-round, a look at the hippos, and 4-5 handfuls of candy later we were out of there! I think if they are going to sell that many tickets then they need to open up the entire Zoo. Lock up the animals if you have to but give some more space or here's an idea...don't sell that many tickets. Oh well...we had fun hanging out afterwards eating dinner at Hueys at 9:00 at night! LOL!
** Thanks to Cheryl we had a back up costume that I suddenly remembered about last week. She brought Reese some Old Navy, black, glow in the dark skeleton pjs that he loves!! I bought him an adorable shark costume at Old Navy a few months ago and got an INCREDIBLE deal on it (after it being on sale and using a coupon the price went from $24.50 to $10!!!!). Keep in mind, he picked it out and said in the store that he would wear it. We get home and he won't put it on, nor would he put the hoodie that was attached on his head! So needless to say I took it back to the store. Thankfully we had backup because after that fiasco I wasn't about to go buy another costume. It was either the pjs or come up with a baseball uniform & to be quite honest, I don't have the time or the energy to make anything right now.
