Yup, you guessed it! The floors are finally finished and I couldn't be happier! I am so thankful for my sweet husband, Michael and Pops who spent their weekend laying, cutting, and putting together these beautiful pieces of my floor!!! I was of no help that weekend but I sure did make sure they were fed, that's the least I could've done. Pops even came over the rest of the week to help put the pieces in the doorways and around the fireplace. This is one goal/ item we can check off our "to do list"now. AND we don't have to bring home a baby to a dusty, dirty house or nasty, stained, flattened carpet in the living room, hallway or bathroom. :)
While Rhett was finishing up one last piece this weekend Reese saw that he was using a drill to put holes in the floor. So he ran off to his bedroom and returned with his own home depot power drill to "help". It was
THE SWEETEST THING EVER!!!!
It made Rhett and I smile for about 10 minutes just watching him be like daddy. He even went and got his own play hammer and screwdriver to help. I love how his imagination and thinking skills have grown soooo much! What an incredible thing to watch.
Sweet little feet and fast cars on the new floor makes us all smile...just a little bit!
