** A little water slide fun at Eli's 4th birthday party on Saturday...
** On Sunday I decided to bake some cookies that came from some ingredients in a Pillsbury box. It was something new so I picked it up at the store and set it on my counter when I got home. It kept screaming at me to bake them...soooo I gave in :) I only ate a few but they are Rhett's fav so he enjoyed quite a few. I took some to my obgyn and ultrasound tech too :)
** On Monday Rhett went and purchased our new hardwood/ laminate flooring. I am so excited to finally have this nasty carpet out of my living room, entryway, guest bath and hallway! What good is builder grade carpet? WHY do they install it knowing they wouldn't want it a few years later?! The bedrooms will have to stay carpeted because there isn't much extra space in them so what is carpeted isn't all nasty and worn out from being played and walked all over. I'll post a blog about our floors come Monday and my feelings about all of the clean up that comes with it :)
I must say...we have a family that we have become really good friends with...The Clay's. They are the sweetest, loving and caring family! Michael has dedicated his time Saturday to help Rhett with this flooring process and we couldn't be more blessed!! We really enjoy our Sunday night dinners with them!
** This picture is on here because it's just something SO easy for Reese to eat and for me to "fix". LOL! Thank you lunchables for such a stinkin cute and delicious meal for my little boy. HE LOVES THEM!! It's alot easier than tearing up deli meat for him...especially when Schnucks has them on sale for $1 a pack (which 2 comes in one pack).
** Tuesday I went to the dr (which you'll catch on my next blog). Then I picked Reese up from my mom's and took him to the Pink Palace to see the new Ocean IMAX movie. He was so excited about seeing it, he kept saying dolphin, shark, whale!!! We get in there at 11:05 (it started at 11) and the lady said sorry it's already started. FIVE minutes late and they won't let you in. So make sure to be on time to those silly shows...geez, I thought it would be like the movies. Needless to say when we walked out the door it was all I could do to keep from breaking down and crying. Reese kept saying, no...shark...shark!!! It broke my heart into 2. He was such a good sport about it by the time we got to the car. He was content watching the Bee Movie on the way home and was so sweet to me...which made it even harder on me.
Tuesday night Reese helped me make tacos...here's my little helper at work :)
And because bath time is our favorite time of the day...I had to include these...
