Potty Time & "Eye Cream"

Tonight after we went to return a movie to Redbox we took Reese for "eye cream" (since he ate all of his dinner the last three bites of his spaghetti that we asked him to eat). Reese got a scoop of chocolate brown ice cream, R got a brownie sundae and I got a scoop of mint chocolate chip in a waffle bowl. It was delish! Anywho, in the middle of eating our "eye cream" Reese told us he needed to go potty. (keep in mind we have been struggling with getting him to tell us he needs to go & sometimes when we are out he will say he needs to go just because he wants to check out the bathroom wherever we are & he doesn't actually pee) So I get up and take him and HE WENT!!!! I was so pumped! We washed hands and he ran out of the bathroom and yelled as loudly as possible "DADDY, I WENT POTTY!!!!!!" All 7 customers and 2 employees heard him and just laughed with me, maybe even at us but who in the world cares!? We did get a few "good job" and claps, it was great! He went after he told me he needed to go! THAT IS PROGRESS MADE! I am so proud of him! I sure hope he keeps up the progress. PS- don't you love the picture? He was on cloud nine eating his "eye cream" and laughing with us because he was smearing his brown lips/face on my cheeks by "kissing" me.  :)
