Wow, time sure does fly by! I cannot believe my little Reese man will be 2 years old in just 2 short months! What kind of party to plan...yes, I am that excited and cannot wait to plan his party! I never really thought I'd have any kind of "themed" birthday party for him until he was old enough to choose what he wanted but the child loves nothing more than to always watch & or read books about...
SESAME STREET! By the way, I just have to say...his love for books just makes my heart melt!! He knows by now that we always get in his rocking chair each night to read a book so I guess that's the only place he thinks he can read a book in his room. If he is being quiet in his room he is either "doing" a puzzle or climbing up in his rocking chair to sit and "read". I love the pictures so much that I had to print them at Sam's in a huge 8x10 picture to put up in my house. He loves his books and he loves "reading" them by himself. He usually doesn't last longer than 3-4 pages with me in any given book. I sure hope his love for books lasts him his entire life...what a smart little boy he will be! I guess my love for books and my addiction to buying children's books (for him when he was in the womb) passed on some sort of passion for them.
So...onto the party planning. Any ideas or suggestions on where to order invites? I found some on Etsy but still cannot decide if I want to go that route or not. I think his two favorites on Sesame Street have to be either Elmo, Grover or Cookie Monster. Here is an invite I liked...feel free to share your thoughts. I know it's so silly but I'm obsessed with planning his birthday parties and how sweet is this invite!? :)

Then onto planning decorations and what to do at the party. I mean what do you do at the party other than visit with friends, when your kids are that young. I really wish his birthday was further into the summer so we could've had it at the sprinkler park...that place was his favorite last summer, I can't wait to see how he takes to it this summer. Well, I'm off to go spend time with the family before the night is over with. I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday!!!! Glad for the weekend to be here and to finally get to enjoy some beautiful weather! Hopefully we will get to go to the Zoo, I've really been wanting to take Reese!
