The Nasty Stomach Bug!

So...first I must report that we had a great dr's visit Monday to see baby Butler #2! S/he has arms, legs, fingers, toes and we saw/heard the heartbeat at 161 bpm! I was thrilled to see as much as we did! I'll have to see if I can get the ultrasound picture posted on here soon. She only printed like 10 pictures off from that day! S/he cooperated for the ultrasound tech and she was able to get the measurements that she needed. It's so strange and hard not to look at the screen and think that it it's not Reese in there. I'm just so use to seeing him on the screen that it's so odd to be looking at another Butler creation. :) Oh, and for those who are wondering when we find out what we are having...we are waiting! Yup, we won't know until Sept.1 or whenever s/he decides to grace us with their presence. :)

Now onto the interesting part of our week. Rhett's plane left Sunday afternoon in the middle of Reese's fever, laying in my bed all day, sleeping off and on. I took Reese to the dr and turned out he has a horrible ear infection. Poor guy! So on top of that Saturday night he had the stomach bug. I thought that I Lysoled, washed, cleaned and sanitized everything possible but it still got to the rest of us. It hit me Monday afternoon and didn't go away until around 1 that night. I also talked to Rhett and poor thing he had it too while he was out of town. I am so fortunate to have my mom here to help me! She came out Monday night to help get Reese ready for bed (which didn't exactly work out as planned) and then came back out Tuesday to take him to her house for the day so I could get some energy and sleep. Then this morning I woke up with a cold. So needless to say I am in the bed taking it easy today and trying to get some laundry washed...all while Reese is at sweet Melissa's house for a few hours! I am so blessed to have such helpful, wonderful people in my life! Especially when my husband is out of town. We miss you honey and CANNOT wait for you to get home!!
