Smiles & foam covered baseball bats

It's been awhile since I've written anything and I thought I'd take a moment to share the greatest thing that happened this weekend. It's really kind of silly but it made me smile and I know Reese was more than happy!

So...Saturday while we were out running errands we made a mad run into Khol's for a lovey to take over to Mrs. Melissa's house for Reese to sleep with. He LOVES his lovey (which I honestly think he's been calling it baby here lately) we'll see. So after we found one I thought I'd run over to the small toy section to just look for something with Elmo on it. Because while we were looking for a lovey he found a cup with Elmo on it and he kept holding it and saying MO MO MO REALLY loudly! While we were in the toy section we came across some foam covered bats. He grinned from ear to ear and was laughing at it. He wanted to hold it so badly. So I let him hold it while I searched for a price tag. No price tag was found on ANY of the bats. So we went to customer service and the manager had to go out in the toy section to find a price. Well, to our luck it was clearanced out for $5 AND came with a ball. HE WAS IN HEAVEN! Needless to say he has not put the bat down since we came home with it. He just walks around smiling like he is the luckiest kid on the face of the Earth, and well I must admit...he is! :)
