Dirty Pizza = Numie Numie

Apparently I can't go into my room to brush my teeth or to change clothes without wondering what in the world my little man could possibly get into next. Don't get me wrong I love it that he is exploring new things but it frightens me a bit to see what he might get into next while I'm not watching him.
Tuesday morning before I went to work I put Reese in his highchair while I put a waffle in the toaster and ran to my bathroom to brush my teeth. (Oh and I gave him a marker...yes with the top on because he doesn't know how to get the top off) He had the marker and his lovey in his highchair with him just hitting the tray with the marker. So I get all done brushing my teeth come back in to fix his waffle and HONESTLY I never thought this would happen...he had the top OFF of the marker and was coloring on a pad of paper. He pulled the pad of paper off of the counter next to him and was coloring a picture. I KID YOU NOT! I got a picture with my phone which will have to be added later to the blog. There is a picture on here of his lovely picture he drew for his mother that he loves OH SO MUCH! :)

Tonight...ok. On the way home I thought to myself, "Self, we are too tired to go home and cook dinner or even make a bowl of cereal." So I called up Dominos and they had our small pizza ready to go by the time we got there. We got home, I put the pizza on top of the stove, went back to my room to put on some comfortable clothes and thought hmmm...it sure is quiet in this house! Where is Reese?! I walked into the den and kitchen calling his name and he never answered. I walked into the kitchen and he turned around, looked at me and showed me his piece of pizza. He pulled the whole box off the stove and had a piece in his hand. Yes, the pizza landed on the floor (cheese side up, thankfully). I stood there, picked up the pizza and thought you know what? I just don't even care. It's been a long, hot day and I was ready to eat and sit my happy self down to play with my son before going to bed. So we ate the pizza and the whole time Reese kept saying numie numie (yummy...i guess). So from now on in this house it's going to be known as the numie, numie dirty pizza. :)

PS- from now on when I can't find Reese and he won't answer me I'm going to snatch the camera just in case for the funny aftermath pictures.
