Sprinkler Park Fun!

Last Friday, our first official day of summer together we went to the sprinkler park. Reese had the time of his life! He was obsessed with the fountains in the ponds across the park though. He kept pointing at them so I took him over to see them. The kid would've walked right into the pond had I let him. He just kept right on walking. He's so funny! It's amazing to watch him look, point and learn about EVERYTHING! I love watching him absorb it all in like a little sponge. We went back to the park on the following Monday with his MiMi and Aunt Catherine. He wasn't as excited but still loved it. UNTIL...I told Catherine to take him under the buckets that dump out water. HUGE mistake! I wish I had my camera that day because the look on his face was absolutely priceless as the water dumped on their heads together. He bumped her head and then was scared of the sprinklers for the rest of the time. I hope that when we go back he loves it as much as he did the first time we went and doesn't remember about the bucket incident. ha! I'm so excited about this summer. Last summer was spent indoors and we weren't able to do much outdoors because he was so little and young. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade that time for anything in the world and would go back and do it all over again! This year is just awesome because he gets to do so many new things and go on so many new adventures!!

Apparently during our usual Saturday mani/ pedi for Reese I missed this one. Can you find it? ha! I'm disgusting, I know. Just thought I'd share. :) PS- His big toe nail was damaged when he was first learning how to walk. He pulled over a table about his size and about half his weight onto his foot. It bruised his toe and it just now is starting to look normal again.
