My Rock

Yes, the title sounds a bit cliche but it's the truth. Not only is Rhett my husband, best friend, and the father to our 2 amazing little babies but he is my ROCK!
When we met back in 2002 I knew there was something special about him and knew from the moment that I met him I knew that I wanted to marry him (even though he felt slightly different than I did). We were both at a much different time in our lives (than we are now) but I knew that because he had the love of Christ in his heart that I wanted him to be mine. I never really had that in a relationship. The kind of man who (underneath it all) had a relationship with God and wanted to share that love with others, especially teenagers and people his own age. Once we began dating we got back involved in church and I felt so blessed to be able to not only serve Christ but with my boyfriend/best friend by my side in the process. It made me super excited for our future together and what it would hold in our church family and our own family we would one day have.

Rhett, you are my Rock...you are left standing when I've fallen, when I think the world is caving in, you always find the best in the situation and bring it out to help me realize that everything WILL be ok. Your patience are made of steal, your heart is made of gold and your talents are many! God has blessed my life far more than I ever imagined He would and more than I will ever deserve with a husband like you! I want to thank you for being my rock for these past 8 years and even more so in these past 4 1/2 years! Opposites do attract, don't they??

You are a loving, wonderful, caring, and patient father too! Reese looks up to you soooo much, you have no idea!! And Addyson is learning to love you more with each day :)  She too will look up to you and see what a great father you are and what a loving, Christlike father/role model is. I hope that she takes what she learns from you and desires to find that in her husband one day. If she does, she will be one lucky girl...just like her mama!

I want you to know...I love you Rhett Alexander! You are one special man to me and I look forward to the journey God has put us on together. So far it has been amazing, especially with these two beautiful babies we have been blessed with...wow, who would've thought after 4 years of marriage we'd have 2 little ones to love and care for? They amaze me on a daily basis!
