Dinner & Recipes

So...on a scale from 1 to 5 I think I would rate myself as a 4. I've done a pretty good job so far for the past 2 weeks at planning out our meals for the week, going to the store (for only what we NEED) and then making the meals each night. Who would've ever thought that by planning out the meals you can pull out the meat the day/night before to thaw and have it ready to cook when you get home from work!? Yes, I use to be that person...it's 5:00 and I'm almost home and still debating on what I want to make for dinner or stopping by the store to pick up whatever ingredients I am missing. Wow, sure does make life alot less stressful! I think one night I'm going to include on my calendar pb&j sandwiches just to see Rhett's reaction. Of course I only plan for 4 nights and one of those is a free night for leftovers, sandwiches, noodles, whatever you prefer. It's working for me and I just thought I'd share. :)

**Sweet Citrus Chicken...recipe courtesy of Kraft recipes online. I have gone back through all of my old Kraft food magazines and have torn out recipes for any kind of meal or dessert and have put them all in page protectors and have started a binder. I pull out the recipes I'm going to use for the week and put them in the front folder. (Thank you Melissa, I sort of stole this idea from you) :) Gotta give credit where credit is due!**

Oh and don't forget the Au Gratin Potatoes...


















And the usual vegetable around my house...corn. LOVE IT!
That's all I've got for today. It's been a long one so I'm off to bed!
