Learning how to....

play in the toilet! So...last night I ran out of my bedroom for a brief second (keep in mind my house is rather tiny) to run into the kitchen to grab something. When I made my way back to the bedroom I kept hearing a sloshing noise. I thought, oh great. Did Reese throw up and is now playing in it? (Gross I know, but he's done it before.) OH NO, he was splashing his hands in the toilet. (after I had JUST put him in his pj's) He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to play in water...whether he, you or I are in the tub he's there right by the side to splash! So, not only do we have to keep the lid down because he was loving to pull up on it, but we have to keep it down so he'll stop splashing and playing in it. LOVELY, huh? (wonder what gross thing he'll get into next) Oh wait, he did. He found a dried up piece of food in the den, on the carpet...yuck, and attempted to eat it. What have we gotten ourselves into, Rhett? :)

Needless to say for his birthday he is probably going to get a water table for outside from mom and dad! Speaking of summer, I am so excited about this summer! Even if I am sitting at a baby pool all summer or sitting indoors playing games with Reese it's better than nothing. My son is going to have skin like his dad, so we won't be outside all day long. But it will be longer than last summer when he was only 1-3 months old (sigh/tear). He may even be walking by then! He's almost there!! Just stands for minutes and then sits. Here is our little bug...oh my, how he's grown! I never knew that you could love someone so small and so precious SO STINKIN much! God is just amazing!!

What a great update! I can't believe he's one already either! Mine are going to be 2 the end of this month and that's just crazy to me!! They've been playing in the toilet, too, and we try to keep the doors closed - but NOW Landon can open the doors!! It's always something! Keeps us on our toes, though! I miss you and hope you can come scrapbook with us sometime!
